Song IQ Now Tells You What to Listen to Next

Found a song you love? Similar Songs helps you find eight more to try.

Finding a song you love is a good feeling. Finding a few more like it? Even better.

The new Similar Songs feature in Song IQ gives you a place to start. Available with Song IQ Pro, it recommends eight songs based on the one you're viewing. So when something catches your ear, you can keep exploring right from its song page.

How It Works

Scroll to the bottom of any song page and tap Similar Songs. You'll see eight recommendations in a grid, each with album art, a song title, and the artist's name.

Tap a recommendation to open its song page, where you can explore the lyrics, read the story behind the song, and find listening options. Each page has its own Similar Songs button, too. If a recommendation catches your attention, you can use it as the starting point for another set of songs.

A Hard Rock Starting Point

Here's what the recommendations look like for "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi.

The results include familiar picks such as "Bad Medicine" and "You Give Love a Bad Name," alongside Aerosmith's "Dream On," "Sweet Child O' Mine," and Bryan Adams's "Summer of '69." It's a handy way to explore more rock, whether you're finding something new or revisiting a favorite you haven't heard in a while.

What to Expect

Similar Songs can recommend other tracks by the same artist as well as songs by different artists. That means you may see a few familiar names, especially when you start with a well-known song. Each set contains eight recommendations; to explore further, open one and tap Similar Songs again.

Keep Listening

Next time you identify a song you love, try Similar Songs before you leave its page. You might find another track to add to the rotation, an artist to explore, or an old favorite worth playing again.
