Scott Storch produced "Just a Lil Bit," the third single from 50 Cent's second album, The Massacre. Released on May 17, 2005, the single reached number three in the United States and number ten in the United Kingdom. It became 50 Cent's sixth solo top-ten single and his ninth overall. The track debuted at number 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 before climbing to its peak, and the RIAA eventually certified it Platinum. The B-side carried a live recording of "Disco Inferno" from AOL Sessions.
An official remix featured the rapper White Dawg. The instrumental found life elsewhere as well. T-Pain freestyled over it on a track called "A Little Hit," and Game used it twice against 50 Cent, once on "300 Bars & Runnin'," where he attacked 50 Cent and other G-Unit members, and again on his own version of "Just a Lil Bit" turned into a diss.
The music video took the action to Cancún, Mexico, with 50 Cent playing a character called El Jefe, or The Boss. He hired three women to set up his enemies, who were played by Emilio Rivera, Hassan Johnson and Jesús Ochoa, and he left each of them $50. Several G-Unit artists made cameo appearances, and the video had gathered more than 636 million views on YouTube as of January 2026. The CD cover showed 50 Cent's modern take on the rap squat, prayer pose included.
