The last track recorded for Come On Over was "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!", which Shania Twain and Robert John "Mutt" Lange wrote together, with Lange producing. The pair had first worked on it back in 1994, when Lange played Twain a riff he had been developing and she sang lyrics over it on the spot. She later said the lyrics and phrasing "came out of the blue" once she heard the riff. The title itself traced back to her time working at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario, where she had taken a job to support her brothers and sisters after her parents died in a car crash. Watching drag performers at the resort gave her the idea.

When it came time to assemble Come On Over, Twain and Lange revisited the song and insisted it appear on the album. It opened the U.S. edition of the record, though the international version began with "You're Still the One" instead, since the track carried country elements. Lange spent four months remixing most of the album for that international release, softening the twang. Mercury first sent the single to North American country radio in March 1999, and it went worldwide later that year.

The song reached number one in New Zealand and the top 10 in six other countries. In 2000 it won Twain her second consecutive Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. Its music video, released March 3, 1999, paid homage to Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love", with Twain dancing among blank-eyed male models.

Man! I Feel Like a Woman! runs at 123 BPM, the tempo of house, disco and most club dance music. In classical terms it sits in allegro territory. A bar of 4/4 lasts 1.95 seconds, and a quarter-note delay is 488 ms. It is in Bb major, Camelot 6B, which shares its notes with G minor and mixes cleanly with Eb major and F major.
